Lauren Shantall (Pty) Ltd Integrated Communications is happy to announce its appointment by Fiero Milano Exhibitions Africa (FMEA) to manage the social media, social media marketing, google analytics and content marketing for the Good Food & Wine Show 2017.

The ever-popular Good Food & Wine Show is an annual, three-day long culinary extravaganza held in three South African cities – Cape Town, Joburg and Durban – at three different points in the year. The event incorporates live cooking sessions by well-known chefs, displays and stalls featuring demonstrations and goods on sale, and culinary workshops.

Lauren Shantall (Pty) Ltd Integrated Communications has been tasked with promoting the show’s three regional events across its numerous social media platforms and via a series of topical blogs and articles written for its website.

Early this year, the communications agency handled the social media community management and social media marketing, and wrote the press releases for the Cape Town Art Fair (CTAF), an event also organised by FMEA. This new appointment to work on a second FMEA show is due to a highly successful campaign for CTAF, which saw visitor numbers increase by 4000 compared to 2016 visitor figures. It is also due to establishing an effective working relationship with the client as well as the agency’s previous experience in disseminating engaging content for numerous clients across a wide spectrum of media.

 The first edition of the International Sourcing Fair (ISF) – reaching African markets in home,  hospitality, office and retail – will take place at the Ticketpro Dome in Johannesburg, South  Africa, from 13 to 15 September 2017. This landmark three-day event is set to transform the  face  of buying across Africa, as the continent’s increasingly sophisticated consumer culture  continues  to accelerate unprecedented economic growth.

 Exclusively a trade platform, ISF will provide a forum where international suppliers can make  direct connections with potential retailers, buyers and procurement teams from South Africa  and  other selected African countries.
